Natural gas customers in BC can return to normal every day usage as Fortis BC says its supplies have returned to normal.
Fortis had been urging conservation ever since an October pipeline explosion in Shelley restricted their supply.
Now, the utility says warmer weather, Enbridge’s efforts to restore pipeline capacity, and the compliance of its customers have resulted in normal levels being restored.
While Enbridge is still operating at a limited capacity of 85 percent through the holiday season, Fortis says the warm conditions should balance out.
