High winds are expected to lash parts of the B.C. coast Saturday.
Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for Haida Gwaii and the Central Coast.
Forecasters expect a very intense Pacific frontal system to cross Haida Gwaii during the afternoon, brining severe and damaging southeast winds of 90 to 120 kilometres per hour ahead of it.
Exposed coastal sections of the Central Coast can expect wind of up to 100 kilometres an hour.
The wind is expected to drop to about 50-60 km per hour sometime Saturday night.
