Dawson Creek RCMP are investigating a couple of recent targeted attacks, including a drive-by shooting last Tuesday night.
Police say a man driving near 10th Street and 107th Avenue was shot at several times when he turned his vehicle around to confront another driver he felt was following him.
While the vehicle was hit several times, the driver was unharmed.
The following day, Dawson Creek RCMP say a man was found on Landry Road near Rolla suffering from serious injuries.
Investigators say the victim may have been in the area for some time, possibly overnight.
Mounties are asking any witnesses that may have noticed suspicious activity, vehicles, or persons on Landry Road in the Rolla subdivision northeast of Dawson Creek on or near November 6th and 7th to contact police.
RCMP say both the shooting and the assault appear to be targeted incidents, although there is nothing to suggest the two are related.
Police say nothing about their investigation of the incidents indicates the public is at increased risk.
