Police in Prince George hopped in to action swiftly to arrest two masked men believed to be toating a shotgun.
RCMP received the reports last night of two men wearing masks walking up the 1900 block of Victoria Street and pointing a shotgun at members of the public.
After quickly arriving on scene, police determined the shotgun to actually be a field hockey stick covered in black tape.
Police arrested the two men, a 32 year-old from Prince George and a 30 year-old from Hazelton on charges of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and pointing a firearm.
They were held in custody to appear in court today.
