A short chase following an accident in Dawson Creek this morning led to the arrest of one man.
RCMP witnessed the crash on Highway 97 early in the morning when a driver failed to stop at a red light and T-Boned another truck.
After attempting to flee on foot, the suspect then assaulted and forcibly removed another driver from their vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Police pursued the suspect down a rural dead-end road before the suspect abandoned the vehicle to hide.
Police eventually discovered and arrested the man and a full investigation is on-going.
