The BC Used Oil Management Association is attempting to make responsible recycling of oil products more convenient for residents.
Fresh grants have been announced by the Association that will go towards bringing more tanks and covered sheds across the province.
The proposed depots will be free and easy to access.
Once collected, the old substances will be recycled to create new lubricants or fuel.
The Association is hoping to make the expansions within 2 years.
