The province is looking for child care facilities willing to team up on a program that wants to bring better universal child care to BC.
Providers that wish to join the program will operate as prototypes that will offer care at 200 dollars per month to all children from September of this year to March of next year.
The exception will be families that make less than 45 thousand per year, who will receive free child care under the new Affordable Child Care Act which rolls out in September.
The Ministry of Children and Family Development are looking to convert 18 hundred facilities as part of the program, which will effect affordability studies over the next decade.
