Quesnel Mounties are investigating after a weekend theft at a local business.
Police were called to the 2100 block of Gassoff Road shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Evidence points to at least two men behind the break-in driving a new model white, single cab, long box Dodge Ram pickup with roof marker lights.
The culprits stole several thousands of dollars worth of Klim and Quicksilver snowmobile clothing.
As police patrolled the area for the pickup, they came across a matching vehicle in North Quesnel that refused to stop for RCMP and was last seen in the Narcosli Creek area.
Williams Lake RCMP along police dog teams from Williams Lake and Prince George assisted in the search, but came up empty.
