Spring was in the air Monday.
Environment Canada says it was a recorder-breaker for daily temperatures in Prince Rupert, Masset, Dease Lake, and Bella Bella.
Prince Rupert got to 17.5 degrees Celsius, breaking the 1937 high of 16.7 while Masset saw a record 15 degrees, surpassing the previous record of 13.9 set in 1905.
Bella Bella hit 16 degrees , outdoing the previous daily record high of 13 degrees set in 2005.
Dease Lake broke a 53-year-old daily temperature with a high of 9 degrees, compared with the previous record of 8.3 set in 1965.
Pitt Meadows (19.5) and White Rock (20.3) also broke daily temperature records set in 1941 and 1965 respectively.
