The Northwest is no longer under a snowfall warning, but that doesn’t mean the weather is getting any easier to deal with.
Environment Canada has lifted snowfall warnings for Terrace, Kitimat, and the Highway 16 corridor between Smithers and Terrace.
However, the Terrace area now has a freezing drizzle advisory in place.
Forecasters say a cold and moist airmass has is responsible for freezing drizzle that is likely to stick around for the remainder of Friday and continue into the evening.
The weather office says the freezing drizzle is likely to cause slippery conditions on roads and walkways.
